Rowdy Dog Media is owned and operated by Larry Johansen. He is the photographer, writer, videographer, and webmaster behind the site and business. His family has lived in Southeast Alaska for three generations spanning a hundred years. His curiosity with travelling may have from growing up on a rainy island in Alaska with a good library. He has travelled to, and photographed over, 40 different countries but he has seen no place with more grandeur than his Alaskan home. He has spent most of his adult life guiding visitors in Alaska or being paid to organize and teach others how. He is now semi retired, but can be easily persuaded to join your Alaskan experience.

He offers a walking tour of downtown Juneau to groups between 3 and 12, photography talks and tours of Juneau to groups, and can talk from his book research and eye witness accounts, about all things Alaskan.
